I run an 8" screen at 800X600. My friend runs a 7" screen. What looks good at 8" doesn't look so hot at 7".
800x600
800x480
Some other resolution
My MacCar screen is bigger then 7"
In developing a usable GUI, I would like to know what resolutions most people with 7" screen use?
800x480 or 800x600?
I personaly run 800x600, I find it readable, and I don't have to worry about dialog and settings box's running off screen.

How does it look on a widescreen display?Originally Posted by Bugbyte
800x480. Stretching the resolution would just be immoral.
More accurately, it's an 8.4", as super-fly's is. It looks terrific.Originally Posted by MacUsers

How did you get the res? When I hooked my Lilli up to my PB, there was no 800x480 option which is supposed to be the native res.Originally Posted by noodles

I'm running 1280 x 768 at 60Hz on my 7" Xenarc. The LCD recognizes it as 1024 x 768. No image stretching.
640 x 480 on 7 inch vga indash
Is that Lili a wide screen one? If not, you probably won't get that option.Originally Posted by iamgnat
