    Post number 6 in this thread, second image. Make sure the little network folder that says "GPS Data File" is checked.

    Here's mine. It's in 4 parts. GPS.kml sets the links to the pos.kml (position) and specifies the refresh rate, track.kml (duh) and another one called snapshot.kml that outputs your position every so often.

    Thanks, I was working on a perl version but having a problem with GE reading it. I got antsy and just made a new version using KML 2.1, I'll post it as soon as I get the overlay straightened out.

    One neat thing is that you can "not" specify the heading and instead it will generate a bunch of rotated icon images and display the proper one according to heading.
