Ah! I didn't know that. Thanks.

Of course, the way I'd rather use it is as a backup for the touchscreen, turning it on only when I have to enter an address or something, but then you have to pair it up.

Yes, you're right - a lot of these gadgets we buy are on impulse

@ Bugbyte: You're welcome. I have finished bootcamp installation of XP, will test the kb on this OS this afternoon.

I still need to take my MacMini apart, and install 2gig ram, and my spare T5600 Merom cpu - should be less heat from the cpu, but I suspect when I dump the Seagate Momentus 7200 drive in, things will balance out again.

These changes will make for a big performance difference - and best of all, I have cpu and hd, just need to buy the ram.

Will keep you posted - soz for off-topic though!

i really dont think that you can. im not %100 but i think the whole purpose for bootcamp is to allow windows to be able to boot on the mac hardware. i believe there is something to do with the bios that windows cant exactly boot on, thus comes bootcampt to bridge that gap. also someone correct me if im wrong but that is what i had understood was the need for bootcamp.

I dont think theres anything stopping me resizing my window partition now, and removing mac os, but If I ever tried to boot to it I would be knacked.. so think I will just leave it as it is.. boot time on it from pressing a button to loading roadrunner is about 47 sec's, this is on a standard xp with all current updates. In hibernation it takes 22 sec's thats from pressing the button, so that isnt to bad at all :-) and again thats from a unstripped XP
