Map Monkey Audio

I've been reading thru a lot of past threads regarding MapMonkey, and while I've found a few tht talk about MapMonkey NOT muting the music etc to give it's commands, I have not been able to find any information on either turning down the volume of the Map Monkey directions, or turning off the vioces completely. I'm sure it should be easy, but I haven't been able to work it out. Any help is more than appreciated....

Did you never run MapMonkeyConfig !!!
Hint...."Audio Mute" tab

Also...You can reduce the volume levels of the WAV files onmass with an audio editor, to a level that is acceptable to you.

I ran the config program when I first installed Map Monkey. It didn't even occur to me to go visiting there (I know, silly me). I've been trying to do it all thru RR. I guess 'cause it's embedded, I've convinced myself it is part of the program. I'll have a look into it tonight. I'll also have a look into editing the volume levels of the 'voices'. Maybe even 'double-up' on them with one set being the default volume levels and the other being the 'quieter' ones. Will play over the weekend.

Anyway, thanks for the reply. I'll try and keep my stupid questions to a minimum...

Not stupid at all..........it's easy when you know, but b****y hard when you don't. Sometimes I forget and have to recap.
Re "doubling up" That's exactly what I have done, I have a set called low volume. You can change voice sets in MM itself, under Settings/Look & Feel

PS: Don't forget that if you are using the RR "Master Volume Speed Attenuation" feature, this will overide MM's "Mute Volume" features, and re-adjust the volume immediately to a speed dependant level.
