Thread: Destinator 3 Frontend v1.1

Ninja,

in my tests I have found 3 problems:

1 - the bar of the signal of the satellites not and' visible, with and without Mediacar

2 - the button GPS setup has worked the first time that the new D3 has launched, but then if I press the button doesn't happen anything (I don't have however' the connected GPS, the tests I do them on my home PC, does it perhaps depend on this? )

3 - the Winamp mute utility if a vocal message arrives from D3 it doesn't work.

it would be useful to foresee in future an Unistall.exe of D3?

Last question:

do you think that an old version of DESTDLL.dll in the register of Windows is able' to make the problems that I have written above?

If I eliminate the whole folder of D3, with Regedit.exe I eliminate every reference and then raising the setup it is able' to resolve the problems?

The DESTDLL.dll is recorded in C:\Windows\System32 in XP?

1 & 2 are related and should be fixed soon

Winamp seems to be muting for everyone else. What version of winamp are you running and do the Next/Prev controls work for you?

Deleting DLL's won't solve your problems I'm afraid

C-client causes an error in USER.EXE
Unsuprisingly, it hangs when loading the destinator client

would it be posible to put canadian maps in here??? and if so where? thx..

Don't worry sussed it.

When I had the previous version working, I moved some of the files arround to get into one folder tree.

When I downloaded the upgrade I extracted the files and copied them into the same place but something obviously didn't work.

I deleted it, and got the full version, with my own built traffic data.

Worked great.
I've repacked it with the UK maps for when I extract onto the carPC when it is re-built.

Obviously with the full maps installed I can't share it.

OK...me got a prob, the frontend works great on its own (nice job!!!), but how the hell do I embed it into MediaCar? It just keeps giving me ActiveX errors on loading.

I can set it to an external app under Launch in MediaCar, and it works from there, but not from when I press the GPS button....
