Thread: D3 Front End: Bug Reports

Bug:
tcp.SendStr('D3Request|Destinate_Address'); <-- Command Acknowledged
tcp.SendStr('D3Request|Click_Button|Item2'); <-- Item2 Not Recognised
Does not work, while manually going to Menu -> Plan Route -> Adress works. The two methods look different, one embeds in destinator, while another kindof embeds itself.

Problem when assigning hot keys 30 to 35 (Buttons 1, 2 and 3, and items 1, 2 and 3). When running D3 standalone it works fine. When embedded in MediaCar the hot keys become confused. The keys assigned to buttons 33 to 35 do the functions of 30 to 32, and the keys assigned to buttons 30 to 32 do nothing.

Also when loading D3, the screen flashes a number of times and ends without focus on D3. When running standalone, I can use my remote software (IR Assistant) to bring the focus back to D3, but when running embedded in MediaCar I cannot get D3 to come back into focus (without clicking on it, and I don't have a mouse in the car...).

I hope you understand what I am banging on about......

I think I know what's happening with your buttons, the function simulates a mouse click based on predefined coordinates and it compensates for the height of the window's title bar...I'm guessing when the app is embedded (and the title bar is removed) it's still compensating, clicking further down than it should. I'll see what I can do

I'm not sure what's happening with the second one, it certainly doesn't happen here. Do you end up without focus even when running standalone?

Correct. It ends up without focus even when running standalone. I have even tried a vanilla install on another pc, running D3 standalone and the same thing happens. The window title bar and the icon on the start bar flash alternately and it ends with the start bar icon illuminated. As soon as I click on the app everything is fine.

when embedded in mediacar, get "run-time error '9': subscript out of range" when clicking on information, quickest/shortest route and plan/navigation buttons on bottom of window.

They're all new features of 1.1...I think you're using an older Skin.ini

Edit: Or even a newer skin, but still using 1.0

Don't know where to put this request. Is it possible to change the colors of the different states in your "1.1.3 Progress Report" ? They all look alike, at least on a TFT screen, and that is very hard to read this way.

I am using destinator on my PII ´XP system, and I love it,
But: Since I installed the new version, often my destinator isnt loading.
He tells me the "1,2,3 sure corectly installed ?" thing and I cant go on.
Sometimes after registering the the files Its working, but only for one start.

So I decided to install V1, but Ive got still the same problem

Sometimes I get It working, but it often lose the Gps signal and have to go to the settings, set it, and go on. Destinator isnt searching on for sattelites itselfe.

I hope you can help me.

I'm almost positive both of these problems will be fixed in the next version (the way both of them work has completely changed)
