Thank you, I will try it.
    1) What was the reason you increased the size ?
    2) The FOOT was just a thought because it was also on the button.
    3) I don't use "planning mode" much, but I also do not like the original
"pushpin" icon. What are the special considerations when designing an icon
    for "planning mode" ?

PS: I think I could do with a crash course in Italian !

I have increased the size because in the daytime, with the Lilliput TS, the visibility in 2D days mode it was a little visible. For me its ok in this sizes.

Also I don't use much to " planner mode" , but the original icon its horrible!
It needs to consider that D3 in planner mode uses , as point of reference to view on the map ,the extremity of the original icon.
Then every new icon to draw wanted to do has to keep in mind of this fact, you will see out otherwise always your icons the real roads of the map.

PS: I also should take a course in English, excuse me if I don't make me understand!

I have now tried Viper2 in my car and it is fine.
I still don't quite understand the planner mode icon, but I agree with you it is poor compared to the other icons and it would be nice to change it.
Does it have to be small and thin so that it does not cover up the roads on the map. Is that what you meant ?

Make a simple test in your car and replace the icon number 236 exsample to my red arrow.bmp
You will acknowledge what I tell alone you, the arrow doesn't work ok on the map.

EDIT: it doesn't care the greatness of the icon, but the final point of it.

    I understand now....

OK, Thinking caps on..what is tall and thin and is more in keeping with the traffic theme.

I'VE GOT IT !......how about a traffic light ?

You have the thin post that it is attached to, which points to the exact spot on the map, and the light itself which would look much better than the "pushpin"

    What do you think ?

So is that a NO to the traffic light because it would have to start at the centre and only be half the height of a normal icon ?

To see to the center of the map the icon OWE to be as I have drawn me now, otherwise any icon comes out some center of the map,and see so very bad, out of the rout.

My icon drawn it seems centered on the map.

Even test also you if don't like it, we will use the best icons if work ok in future.

    OK, Will do...
Will you try this one (TL1.zip)
This icon is exactly the same size and position as the original pushpin icon.
The base of the traffic light is the focal point.
