    I dont see it on this thread , so i will assume its new:

    The ETA and ETR next to the music control buttons do not take into account taht i slowed down...on the buttom the ETA adjusts if i am driving slow, when on he top the ETA starts counting negative minutes traveled after it finished counting the minutes it takes me to travel...confused? letr me try again:

    1. I chose a destination
    2. ETA: 12:30 am
    3. I am stuck in traffic
    4. the ETA on top still says 12:30
    5. ETR goes down to 0mins
    6. I am still in traffic
    7. now the etr is counting 0:06- mins

    yeah, well hope i am not the only one experiencing this
    btw, the counter on the bottom is fine
    While I also have this issue I have also noticed that if I have a route planned. And at some point stop for gas or food or whatever....Once the program has been closed and opened back up....it remembers the route ok but all I get for ETA and ETR are ?....for some reason it does not re-calc them once the program has been closed and opened again.

    I am also having the OSK issue of not being able to type with it at all.

    Edit: Also not sure if this is a bug or a feature request....but everytime I open the app stand-alone...not embedded. I have to maximize the app every time. Not a big deal...but I thought I would pass it along.
    Thanks

    Hi NM,

    When I have Speed Cam detection enabled, I get slowdowns whenever i get in the neighbourhood of a speedcam. The CPU hangs at 100% for about a minute, then i get the audio warning and D3 tries to display the visual warning. The visual flashes by, not even a second on screen.
    After that D3 works normally untill the next speedcam when everything gets repeated.
    I imported the speedcams in favorites, have advanced GPS enabled en Logic off.

    Thx for the prog

    I think this might be because there are so many entries in your favorites folder...although there are issues with CPU and searching the CSV file (which are now fixed in my dev version)

    Try clearing the speedcam favorites folder down (easily done by trying to import another countries database in non-synchronise mode then clicking abort) and see if it still occurs

    I'm pretty sure if you go into the navigate to POI dialog you can tick the checkboxes next to all the categories you want displayed on the map, just like you can with favorites.
    @ Ninja, for news for you.. seems to be worse in the birds eye view...

    No, what I ment was just displaying them any way to map the map view a little less bland.

    PS: I may be wrong so I'll test 1st thing
    @ Ninja... yep that worked... never had that in v2.

    I'd say no because it would not be a beta then and I can understand why Ninja has done it... anoying although it is.

    createGPS thread error

    Hi, what does the error "GPS Thread is not created..." message mean?
    I've tested my gps unit and it works, could it be a software error?

    This is some very nice work. Thanks for sharing.

    When I launch D3 in stand alone mode or from Frodoplayer I get the following error.

    Error Details:

    Number: 6
    Description: Overflow
    Source: Load_Settings
    Version: 1.1.314
    HelpContext: 1000006
    HelpFile:
    LastDllError: 0

    This only happens when my GPS is running in siRF mode. Here's the relavant part of the config file.

    [Advanced GPS]
    //NMEA Receivers only
    UseAdvanced=NO
    COMPort=4
    COMBaud=38400
    Protocol=SIRF

    I'm using a BU-303 receiver. Despite the error message the software does appear to be working. When the GPS gets a fix it does report my position correctly. Of course I'm still testing my rig indoors so I haven't actually seen what happens once I start moving...
