It's on the "size & position" tab

Can you try something else - using explorer, go to C:\DestinatorApps\Frontend_PREV and run Destinator3.exe directly and tell me what happens.

Hi Ninja Monkey,

Erm ive looked around and still cant find that tab also when you asked me to enter the DestinatorApps dir, there is no Frontend_PREV folder, just a Frontend folder. Well i ran the exe in that folder and it still does not work.

P.S. (im running 1.1.2) would you like me to try the beta 1.1.3??

Ahh, ok... I can't remember if there were issues in 1.1.2 that I fixed for the beta.

I know seth is having random OSK problems with 1.1.3 but can you give it a try anyway?

Right ive just repeated all the previous tests that i did with 1.1.2 with 1.1.3

Ie loading the app through media car, loading the exe direct ect.


As before no luck, but i have noticed this. When i click in the textbox control and then click a button on the OSK, the button goes down like a normal windows button and there is a beep through the speakers but no chr appears in the text control. if i then click another button there is a beep through the speakers, but the button does not go down and pop back up like before.

I think this is a different problem that you're having.

Just to check, does the HOME button work when you're on one of the dialogs?

Yeah, if i load up the page to find an addy, and click about "pretending to find a place" and then click the home button it works fine. BUT if i load the find a place dialog and then click the home button straight away it does not work untill a second click on the same button, as if the form does not have focus.

I have the same problem, but after reading another post I found the osk works if you launch from the destinatorapps folder directly.

It does not work if you click a shortcut on the desktop or the start menu.

I haven't played with the frodoplayer configuration yet and that launches the previous version.

I get the same thing in full screen or windowed.

The previous post I read said something about turning off caps lock to solve the issue but I couldn't do that either.

I have a fresh install of XP SP2

Wicked software though I'm not installing Navigator this time!

I just created a shortcut on my desktop to test this, and you're absolutely right! D3 dialogs become modal to the frontend if you use an external shortcut... it really doesn't make sense - i'll have to look into this.

Holy crap...I confirm that it works if you run Destinator3.exe directly and not the desktop shortcut...go figure!!!
