    Click on Menu->Setting->General Setting.
    You can now select Imperial system (MPH) or Metric system (km/h) under Units System.

    While we are on the subject of speed reading. I have noticed that the large speed reading displayed on the map page is aprox. 5mph slower than my car speedo reading. As this appears to be pretty linear once on the move, is there a way that an adjusment can be added so that both figures can match ?

    The GPS speed reading, while lagged a second or two, is almost definately more accurate then the speedometer in your car.

    I stuck the speedo update in with the ETA/ETR, Satellite count and Camera Detection which is set to refresh every 2 seconds.

    I'll make a change to refresh the speedo whenever GPS data comes in, that should make it a little more accurate but it will still be around a second behind...even so, I would never want to sync it with my real speedo

    Something that might be an interesting experiment, if you have an OBD-II reader, most cars report their speed via the interface. It might be interesting to see what THAT reports to see if the problem exists in the car circuits or the physical speedo gauge.

    You might consider setting the cruise control at a few common speeds and noting what the GPS indicates. Then you'll have an idea what your true speed is, might be helpful when the long arm of Johnny Law is nearby.
