    Importing Speed Cams

    Hey, Bit of a dumbarse question but here goes...

    How do you import speed cams into D3? I downloaded the latest csv but have no idea what to do with them...

    You can't yet, there will be an import tool soon though

    Sorry, I cant see any speed cams on my maps therefore assumed they had to be imported.

    I'm getting really fed up of explaining how the speed camera detection works.

    All the info about importing them to favorites, making them visible on the map, adding them as they are detected etc can be found by searching.

    Is there actually anyone who understands fully how it all works?

    I searched and read everything I could but still couldnt understand how it worked. Sorry...

    I'm not trying to be a pain in the arse, just trying to understand how to get it working.

    As long as it's enabled and you've chosen your country from the list then that's it, it's working!

    NM, I posted a while back regarding merging SC databases on beta2, i note that the format has changed for beta3.

    Can this be done now? and how?

    Yes, just open the DCD files with access and copy the data from one to another. Just make sure the names of the cameras are unique or it'll fail

    It should be like this:



    As you aproach a camara, It will detect it and display the camara on screen.

    The cameras will be added to the screen as they are detected.

    If you want all cameras in the screen, you just click in the import button and untick the option "Display speed cameras on map" ( the ones in the pic above ).
    Also, make sure that the check mark next to Fe_speedcams is checked.
