Are the speed cameras direction based?
I mean when I drive north and the speedcamera is in the south direction will I get a worning that I am approachin speed camera? ar I will get worning ony when I drive south on this way?
Hi,
So I noticed that there are a fair few cameras missing in the UK database that comes with Version 3. So maybe this update will fill them in.
Although to import the database and have it displayed it seems that you need this in DCD file format rather than CSV. So how do I use this updated database ?
I have read all the threads surrounding this, and can't find an answer, other than vague references to Access 97??
Also NM, what is your paypal address for donations.
Many thanks,
Matt

-Xenarc 700TS
-P4 2.0 GHz, DIN size, 512 RAM, 80 Gb hdd, DVD/CD
-Usb GPS, FM modulator
-OBD2 interface
-Frodoplayer & Destinator frontend
You need to be running v 1.1.329 of the frontend to import CSV files (AKA Hotfix #3)
Go into destinator configuration and then the Adv. GPS tab, select the United Kingdom database and click the Tools button and then "Import New Cameras"
Easy!
ps: there's a donation thread stickied in this forum

Cool, I'll have to try the hotfix. Since posting I've been playing the MS Access and found a way to convert the CSV file to DCD, I then just placed it in the Custom DCD folder and am importing it now. It takes a while to import and I'm going out now, so won't know if it has worked for a few hours.
I have sent you a few quids.
Matt
