Common problem. You have to reconnect it after hibernation
Hi to everyone!
Just like in the topic, my Pharos 360 GPS (the one that comes in bundle with Streets & Trips 2005) doesn't reconnect after hibernation resume, even if I checked the proper option. Of course, I'm using the lastest beta of D3 Frontend and WinXP Mce2005 (SP2).
Thanks in advance for your help
Adv. GPS on/off?
How do you usually fix it? Will closing and reopening destinator do it, or do you have to unplug/replug the USB to detect it again?
I'll look into it, but mine reconnects fine so it's hard to test
It's enough to close and restart Destinator. In this way, the GPS starts to work immediately
well when i get out of hibernation with my BU-303 it says gps not found! but its still working, it only says that line :S
my destinator map resource down permanently
For me is different, it's not working! I former had a BU303, and it works perfectly (for example, I used "Route 66" and after hibernation it started to work immediately) but unfortunately the Pharos doesn't work this good
I have seen that if if the GPS loses for some motive the signal with D3 that travels, then it takes enough time before correctly takes back the correct signal.
A system would be useful that allows to restart " to warm" as the old D2 the GPS.
Does thing think Ninja of it?
My Rikaline 6010 does the same thing so I just took the ...GPS not found... voice prompt outOriginally Posted by GReeToZ
