Well, they said it was legal to release his software with the crippled SDK, so I guess so.

yeah me to, well lets home NM figures it out with powerloc, i know i would certainly pay for a goodworking and supported nm version, the only reason i didn't buy dest 2 or any other nav system is that they are al far to expensive (200-300 euro's is crazy) i just want the software, miomaps will do fine for me :P

destinator 2 (for pc) is 250 euro without the reciever (destinator.nl)
destinator 3 for ppc 190 or 300 without reciever (destinator.nl)

that's a lot of money for a student who has to pay everything himself

Angry Whatever happens please work it out!

I am happy to pay for Map Monkey as long as it is fair to everyone: NM, IPR owners & users.

I really hope all this legal stuff does not kill the project and the NM can continue his good work.

Is there anything we can do to help NM out of this mess? Could this issue stop the development?

    I can only second this...

Ninja Monkey's Map Monkey frontend is the GPS solution I want to use...

I would gladly pay for Monkey Map...

I would gladly pay for the D3 maps...and intend doing so...

BUT...I would only want to buy the D3 UK maps...if powerloc allows Ninja Monkey to give us the option of loading the UK in one file!

I really can’t understand powerloc’s stance on this issue.

They could be in a prime situation here…by being one of the first GPS software companies to get a hold in the CarPC market.

This market is going to explode this year…

AND!!! Ninja is doing all the work for them….HE SHOULD BE ON THEIR PAYROLL!!!!

Maybe Ninja should just drop them…and look to an other company’s GPS solution.

Maybe there is a company out there with a similar product that would be more than glad to help us…and work actively with NM to profit them…and in turn solve our problem.

here is the answer monkey releases the dll crippled verison of the software and we download the old cracked dll from p2p software.

Tiz the fix if destinator don't like this sitaution then they get off there lazy asses and give us a PC version for which I paid many months ago and promised a PC version would follow for downloadfor but was never give.
