Lightbulb MonkeyTalk SDK - swap map question

I was looking at the SDK and it's pretty neat! I figured I can check what state I'm in (I guess it would be what country for Europe) and from that look up a table and see what map should be switched to automatically. I tried the ClickButton method on the "switch maps" screen but I guess that's not what it was meant for. Is there a way to switch maps without any user interaction with this SDK? Thanks a bunch!

But you only get what state you're in from the map that's loaded!

It still could be done, just need a database of lats & lons and which map they correspond to, or something like that!

Might be designed for use with the major roads map, that way you would get the state, and then it would switch to higher detail maps when you enter that state.

yeah, i'll need more details on the Max and Min coordinates of each map (the D3 SDK can give me this) and then I can write a plugin to do it

Does D3 let you have multiple maps loaded concurrently? If no, how will you gracefully handle the boundary conditions?
