NM - A great solution how ever ... seeing as it worked before you released it is it not a code problem ? Would it not be better to spend the time on fixing that rather than making a new app ?

I would consider the launcher a patch, and the problem will be fixed in the new versions first alpha/beta

The problem it's that the name of the app changed and the frontends are not ready for this (neither they’re supposed to be - We all know why the name changed...)

The solution it's on the frontends side of things, but nm, to avoid us guys having to wait for the frontends next releases, created this launcher.

no in CENTRAFUSE its not the name, you can specify that but the way it embeds

Thinking lateraly... what about having a setting IN MapMonkey which can specify what sceen name to give ? Would save this prob in the future with apps. Got to be less work long term ?

Ok so on my home pc everything works fine using the launcher to embed in MC... but when installed the exact same way in my car, the bottom half of the bottom row of buttons is off the screen...

i have plugins enabled, MC is pointing to the launcher, and changed the line in mml.conf to mediacar.exe

any ideas?

I've had this too, it's because the Title bar is showing, so you have three components on screen, which forces the screen down. The title bar shouldn't show but I have found no way to eliminate it, so I have switched back to no launcher. This way there is only the title bar and navigation screen which fits the display ok. I've tried every combination of mediacar and monkey map config, with no luck. Just like you, I thought at first that this was the perfect solution because it worked great on my laptop. Im sure a fix will be available in time, just have to wait till then.
