Thread: Map Monkey Launchers (Fixes for Frodoplayer, Centrafuse, Mediacar...)

My mapmonkey and media car are working together..... but i have some issues....

1) map monkey doesnt go to the full screen as mediacar....
2) when i have map monkey running and i want to get back to media car to change a song.. how do i get back to the map monkey screen? i tried re launching it but it comes up with error

" an error has occurred in map monkey. to ignore this error and attempt to continue click ok...
but when i click ok it launches a map monkey screen but it comes up with just grey screen shot and nothing is happening

stasik-a4, that means that MapMonkey is still running in the background as you try a re-launch. Try to get it back with alt-tab, otherwise start the task manager and kill the MapMonkey/launcher processes.
That also happends if you launch it with the launcher, when pressing "X" it will terminate the launcher, but not MapMonkey...

I'm also having issues with MC and embedding MM to fit right.

I'm pretty sure I got all the MediaCar and Launcher/mml setting correct, but MM shows up inside MC in a very small fixed window. I think my problem lies in my Map Monkey configuration. I also noticed that my MM config is slightly different than karhu posted earlier. Mine says Configuration 1.1.344, is this an old release of MM?

Can’t wait till I can get this to work....

If someone does, would you be so kind as to post a tutorial starting from the very beginning (including settings for MM, MC, MMLauncher ect..)

hi i'm trying to but have a question

is it normal for destinator in centrafuse that if it's embedded that the buttons are not the one in the skin that i selected in de mapmonkey config ?

and when i launch cfd3launcher.exe by hand it won't start.(sceenflash of mapmonkey and then ends)

I am new to map monkey and i am trying to set it up with centrafuse so that it will open in the centrafuse window. I tried the path given and there is no C:\DestinatorApps\Map Monkey\CFD3Launcher.exe
How do i get it to work in the centrafuse window, i set it to the mapmonkey.exe but it opens a totally different window

i did not at first, but i just did, now it opens in the window, but does not open fully, it says "launching map monkey..." but never finishes. I am pretty sure i extracted it right, i clicked on the file and extracted it to the map monkey folder, is there anything else i have to do? and as far as maps of the US where can i get them for a reasonable price, roughly how much are the maps? are there different choices i have and how hard is it to get it up and working with map monkey then connecting the GPS? Also i have to say thank you for putting so much time and effort into the program, i cant wait to get it working and when i do i will have to donate some money to the creator
