    screenshot of ERROR GPS




    i got this situation a lot of times


    the SATS are GREEN but map is not showing.


    i am using RGM 2000 royaltek SIRF mode 38400

    the usb to com driver should it stay on 4800 bps
    the sun always shine

    look at the bottom right of that screen shot, just about the "view" button.

    Those bars are red.. from what i remember, that means no good signal. Even though it can SEE 4 satellites, it's not getting a good signal from them.

    Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

    i think the TOP is for ADVANCED GPS USAGE

    and the bottom is for normal USAGE

    Don't use 4800 for SiRF, that's most likely the problem. Try 38400

    the sirf mode is SET to 38400 , but in the USB 2 SERIAL convertor its speed is set to 4800

    I would try selecting Adv GPS and go from there .. sounds like maybe a sirf problem as well.

    I seem to have the same problem?

    It shows the same, but I use nmea at 4800 (this is the only working config)
    Sometimes it works with advanced gps on and sometimes it doesn't at all...

    any ideas???
