Question about map monkey and destinator 3

Sorry guys, I know this must have been covered a hundred times before, but I'm kinda confused on the situation.

I want to use mapmonkey with destinator 3. I own Destinator 3 US for the pocket PC. Do I still have to buy the SDK? Am I good to go?

    Thanks for clarifying this..

    YOure good to go

Just replace the DestDLL.dll in the mapmonkey/destinator folder with the one from the pda version on Destinator 3

then put the maps into the mapmonkey/destinator folder (keep them in their respective folders)

Apparently if you buy the $50 SDK under the Support trial from sdk.destinator1.com it will work. This is what the Destinator people have told me. You have to do the activation thing on the device you want to use it.

I have NOT tried it though and have not bought the SDK myself yet, if you want to be the first to try go ahead.

You could try emailing [email protected] and asking them the same question though... That's how I got the answer that the new $50 SDK would work.

OK, I've bit the bullet and bought the $50 SDK.
