Thread: Official Destinator 3 SDK that can use full size maps

No! this isn't another thread moaning about one not being available! Or asking where to get it!

I've bought the $50 D3 SDK from http://sdk.destinator1.com/

After initially being sent the old version (3.0.75_97 - same as what comes with MM) I have just received the new version (3.0.75_104) that allows PC activation.

The limitations should be identical to the PPC version, in that it can only be registered on a single machine, and if you re-format or change Car PC hardware you will have to go back to your reseller to get the key reset.

I haven't tested it yet, but it is a newer DLL last modified date, and does have a working activation EXE:



Obviously I can't activate it yet... Need to be on the Car PC!!

Will keep you posted to how I get on.


EDIT:

After a few weeks I now have the proper DLL from them, and it works.

What's required is the 3.0.75_97 SDK (or map monkey) and then a DLL they send you as an attachment, which you simply copy over the original DLL.
