    What's wrong with win98 ?

    Just tried to install mapmonkey and... gnahgnahgnah cannot install in win98.

    Technically, what Win98 doesn't have that Xp/2k do ?

    Agreed, it also can be completely reinstalled in 12 minutes, only takes 300mo on my drive.... and doesn't ask for M$ cerified ***** each time I change something....



    Technically, what features Mapmonkey needs that aren't available in win98 ?

    Now common man, admit that MM is just a hack in VB so it should be working on any Win32s platform, right? All this "requires WindowsXP" is bull ****. Its all matter of dependancies on libraries you use. Of course, some features simply cannot be backported to Win98, such as BlueTooth stack (but who knows?).

    DealtaFX I know what you mean, I owned Pug206 before current car and I am happy it was stollen to me. I only can not undestand one thing: WHY?
