Well guys i know how I will do this and have source code in VB for it and it will work great
I just need to know how many turn signals would i have to display on the HUD i'm gonna build?
there's left right stright and roundabout what else would i need?
I also need to know if it's possible to know if the next turn is a left right or stright turn?
I've got the planning done just havent looked into MM for getting the values out yet.
So can someone give me an answer?

Well here is what a HUD display looks like:

It reflects light from a display in or ontop of the dash so when you look through the windshield you will see it like it's floating in air.
In response to 0l33l
There is no screen shot it's just a VB app which sends data to the parallel port which in turn turns 8 led's on and off.
I have seen some delphi code around for it so i can search for that if you like.
But it's just a very simple LED on/off program.
The LED's are inside a small strip which has a plastic window infront of each LED so this window has the Arrorw on it so when it lights up you will see the reflection
Does this make sense? the whole thing only cost $10 max for the componets as it's only 8 LED's 8 Resistors and some wires and a DB25 connector
The box for the turn signals on the other hand i don't know how much it will cost i will have to work it out.
Now i have 2 locations either on the dash so i see it at the bottom of the windshield or behind the rearview mirror.
Cause my car windshield is sloped quite a bit i would see the top of the windshield easier and also it has that blue crap at the top of the windshield for protection your eyesthis should give me a better reflection but i'll have to try it out first
Any questions? it's a very basic circuit![]()

Wonder what would be a nice sign for the "No Solution" type of turn? Maybe a big "Hit the damm breaks" sign? lol
