Well, like I said before, I changed my system date to 2006 and MapMonkey functioned fine with the big US Maps.
Personally, I want to see them sell the Destinator package for Windows. With that you would get use of the maps and one seat for the SDK. So my licensing cost would be what ever Destinator for Windows was times the number of computers installed on.
BTW- They also said Destinator for Windows is not comming out anytime soon.

Car PC Status: Complete - Undergoing Software Redevelopment
Every time I call my contact at Powerloc he tells me they are getting close and almost finished with the PC version of Destinator 3. From my understanding the easiest way from a licensing standpoint is to wait until this supposed "Desintator 3 PC version" is complete. At that point all that will be required is the end user have this installed and all required maps and dll's will automatically be registered on the computer. I just hope they finish it soon.

what is not going to ever happen I assume.
Well, they are the ones losing out on revenue.![]()
Has anyone seen the license agreement for the SDK? I can't seem to locate it.
I'm getting more and more happy with the old "modified" dll.
If they don't offer legal ways to use it, or treat customers like idiots (charging for a soon-to-expire dll), I think they are ASKING for usage of the hacked dll.
