    GPS memory?..

    Help!
I have a Pharos 360 GPS; by default it works in NMEA, so I used SirfDemo to switch on sirf protocol. Everything works fine, except when I leave my car turned off for a couple of days... In that case, probably the inner memory of the GPS goes out of battery and lost even the "sirf" setting. So, when I turn it on again it is set for NMEA and of course MM doesn't find it.

    Is there any solution?

    Thanks in advance!!!

Maybe you could use a macro tool to automatically run the sirfdemo software and set the GPS back to sirf mode on boot, or someone could write a little app to do automate this..?

This may be a problem, however, because I only hibernate my carpc and no app can run on wake up... I really prefer a way to permanently change working mode to Sirf!

I believe if you do HORM (Hibernate Once - Resume Many) you can run specific apps on resume. Check the OS Optimization section for more info on HORM.
