Touch screen, to have less chances for an accident![]()
it seems map monkey is very mouse oriented. since this is going to be in the car, I won't have a mouse/wouldn't want to use one in the car.
Are there special commands or something I could map the keyboard to/remote control (using girder), or NaviVoice or something?
thanks for any help!

no touchscreen. Remote control, keyboard, voice, gider, etc. are all my available options (unless I missed some)
I'm also using Meedio as a front end if that makes any difference
also, "talking" to the computer would be a lot safer then fumbling around with a touchscreen![]()
well.. talking is fun.. but it gets old fast .. I've found touch to be quite safe if done right.. just like chnaging tracks on a CD deck .. and yes I can adjust volume and tracks without looking.. once I know the spot to hit..
are you against the TS? or just don't have funds to buy one?.. or bought a nonTS LCD?.. nothing beats a TS in my opinion..
don't have the funds for a TS, and already have a few LCD's that are nonTS that inspired me to create a car pc in the first place![]()
