    Hey M11, any update?

Can you share the updated c_client with us who are also trying to get the PN sdk to work?

Do they send updated sourcecode to access the new sdk?

all I have now just crashes when executed, when running the VB project it complains about not being able to create the activex object or something (as if the class name was wrong DestSDK.Dest) (looking at the documentation I thought the property name could be under IDest instead of Dest, but it also fails with same error)

Please share whatever you have... this sdk looks nicer than the other, but it is surely hard to finaly get it to work!

Can either of you ( when you get time ) tell me if this new SDK is TMC capable... if not I may be starting some thing of with another member to provide that support in the format of a DLL...

    Cheers

Terran ( sorry for banging on about it... )

PS - Fancy a laugh - Destinator Ranked No.1 in UK Handheld Navigation Market - Follow the top link you'll see I made some comments

Nonsense... I tried PN SDK on 5 PCs: on 2 it worked, on 3 not.

So, something should be in conflict with it. We have to find out WHAT!!!

All the 3 pcs on which it worked have Visual Studio 2003 installed... May be that?

Please tell me what softwares you have...

Hmm... I have VB6 installed, it is under Visual Studio 6.0, but VB is the only studio component I have installed....

I wonder if it is VS2003, I could try installing that if it were the case...

EDIT: Garo, could you possibly add VS2003 to one of the non-working machines? If it works I will try on mine too to confirm, but I need to get the CDs and stuff from the MSDN library here, in another building...

The problem is that ALL working machines don't have VS2003, and ALL non working machine have VS2003!.. That may be a coincidence but it's strange; furthermore, the C example of Destinator PN was made with VS2003!

I dont get it, the PCs WITH VS dont work or WITHOUT VS dont work?

Did you check ur PM? I cant test any further because I only have VB6, so if you get any progress can you send me a compiled exe? (even if only so I can see the new face of DPN! )

Is is working only on PCs WITHOUT VS... Strange, isn't it?

However, I'm not saying that THAT is the cause, but it's a curious coincidence... I'll check it out!!

    Don't worry, EXE will arrive.

However, on machines where it works, just running destinator.exe was enough...
