    out of the loop... what's up with the DLL expiration?

    Hey everyone...

    I've been working on building a carpc for my second car and the laptop that I'm using has pretty much been offline for a while... now I just about finished and plugged everything in last night, only to find out the nice "time bomb" messages courtesy of the Dest 8/05 DLL. I looked around and saw a couple of threads about it, but I don't see if there's actually a resolution to this...

    Am I right to assume that this happened to everyone that purchased the SDK and got that DLL? Should I even bother contacting PowerLoc about a new DLL, or is it pretty much futile?

    And if there's no current solution, can somebody please pm me with any news about what they've heard could be a working solution for this? I knew this stuff was gonna expire, and I feel robbed of $50 for what's basically crippleware, but I like the software and would like to continue using it...
