    D3 3.0.75 upgrade ?? Mapmonkey ??

    Hi,

I see from D3's website that the latest version is 3.0.75, which has various fixes / improvements over earlier versions. Now, does that mean there is also a 3.0.75 version of the SDK ?

What I'm getting at is, do the improvements in the 'real' D3 3.0.75 come over to MapMonkey ??

...or have I missed something fundamental here ?

    Cheers.

Nobody knows ?? Surely not ! OK, let me try this - does anyone have any probem with MM and roundabouts - when using the newer maps (i.e. 2004).

The new maps have made a big difference (i.e. roundabouts now actually exist !), but MM (D3)'s handling of them is still less than perfect.

Destinator's site says that 3.0.75 has 'improved roundabout handling' - but is that in the exe or just the map ? ....and to return to my original question, does that mean the current SDK would also have this fix ?

    Anyone ?

what 2004 maps are you using?

it wasnt until i used this version that it sent me around roundabouts at the right time...

    UK and the Irish republic
Version 2004.Q4.2928 - map of NavTeq. Compressed main graph, HLG 3, signed for left side driving, Toll roads, UpSpeed, Simplified TMC V3.1, DST-2337, Signed map

other 2004 maps still didnt work correctly.

Yep, roundabouts work fine for me. I've got the 3.0.75 version.

    My maps are :-

    "United Kingdom
Version 2004.Q1.2771 - map of TeleAtlas. Compressed main graph, HLG3, Toll roads, Signed for Left-side driving, Private roads updated, Signed Map"

...but I have no idea what version of D3 I have in the SDK - hence my question !

I originally had the 2003 maps which simply didn't have any roundabouts, then I got the maps stated above and the roundabouts appear fine - BUT Mapmonkey (D3) still occasionally gives me stupid instructions when I get near one. I saw on Destinator's site that the latest version of the full D3 has "improved roundabout handling" - and I'm trying to work out if I can get that improved handling into Mapmonkey. ...i.e. is there a '3.0.75' version of the SDK ???

How can you tell which version of the SDK you have ?
