Map monkey just closes - wrong maps

Why can’t I use maps from X-Road3, its basically the same files as the downloaded maps, from that German site.

I can open the new maps with the map cutter, and the maps are from destinator, when I try them in Map Monkey, Map Monkey just closes with no fault or anything??

The old map was named

Skandinavia:

Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden

Version 2003.2.2204 - map of TeleAtlas. HLG4, Toll roads, MLC, ML POI v2,Signed map

The new is

Skandinavia:

Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden

Version 2005.R2.3622 - map of TeleAtlas. HLG3, Toll roads, Rural, WES2. Signed map

Is it a PN map?

if so you need to delete some of the files and then open and save itt in mapcutter.

do a search for how to get PN maps to work with mapmonkey.

How can i see if it is a PN map?

Weird, if i cut the map down to 1mb, then it loads up, and i can make a map, but if I cut it down to ex. 26mb i just crashes.

I tried to search for the PN solution, but if i del. the files it just says "wrong map, going back to last map"
