It will be the Pocketgpsworld in the middle but I don't know the official layout for the MM files. try taking out the copyright stuff and see if that helps.

    Cheers for the reply!

Thats what im trying to figure out (the official layout) I think it is:

    Type,Longitude,Latitude,Name,Speed
    "MOBILE","-1.41791","52.32594","1","0"

As thats one of the lines in the mapmonkey download section... im struggling in converting the following to work though:

    Type,Longitude,Latitude,Name,Speed
    GATSO:1@40,-2.17788,50.68304,blank,blank

    Have a look at http://www.gpsbabel.org/capabilities.html
    Plenty of conversion options there!

    Hi Corsamel,

that format seems different than the one I know of. I was under the impression pocketGPS had comma-sep data, not tab-sep. Well, here is a way to change it using excel

first replace all tabs with comma in any editor.

then replace all @ with comma.

finally replace all : with comma.

finally import the file in excel; you should have several columns, where
    - 1st column is MM Type
    - 2nd column can be used as MM Name
    - 3rd column is MM Speed
    - 4th column is not needed
    - 5th column is longitude
    - 6th column is latitude

now delete 4th column from excel; and move the rest around to fit MM specification.. finally save it again as CSV.

import the file in excel; I believe you can choose the delimeter; choose Tab character (or you can replace all tabs with comma in most editors)

    once imported
