From the feature list and the screenshots all i can see that is usefull is TMC support, hopefully they have listened to our requests and have just not listed all the carpc features...

I was born an optimist:-) It's probably a longshot to have all requests fullfilled, but i do still like the general usability of pc navigator 6

TMC is open TMC and others... in short every where except the UK.... I had a chat with them.
HOW ever with the Open TMC been exactly that there is no reason that using some of the Internet data streams I know about some one could not write a proggy to provide that data to the programe.

Just looking at the directions site.... Nav pro 4 is the only one you can get apps made for using the OCX etc I think ... ( Eg a FD conversion ). Yet its old and has 2005 maps.
I wonder if they are going tp do some thing about this ?

Terran,
with the emails i exchanged, they told me that v.7 would have an OCX.. but no word on that on their website..
It will take more than an app for me to switch from FD.. Cdr has done exactly what a carpc needs from a nav software, and unless we can get at least 90% from what FD offers I would rather stay with 2005 destinator maps
And i never gor to understand WHY an old version of the software (v.4.4) is more expensive than a new one (v.6)..was it only the OCX thingy that 4.4 had??
I know CDR is looking for a D3 replacment, depends which is best for him
Terran
i hope it would be somthing that has maps for many countries..and not just UK![]()
I think if CDR had a demo copy to test with we would soon see
