Are all these developers blind or deaf or something, or just totally inept? There is clearly a market for this stuff. ALK and iNAVCorp seem to do ok.
Why can't someone come up with a decent CarPC GPS solution.
Whats the point in making Navigator even have any kind of OCX or SDK if all you can do with it is look at a map, and 'plan' a route! What about actually travelling along said route - do they think we just sit at home looking at maps

exactly right, it sucks major ba..s, and its all to do with money and nothing else. I hope that mapfactor/directions will make good on their promise to enable window sizing in the next version, as this will make it much easier to use embedded, the tcp server function actually works now, allthough the only function is to set a destination right now, but an obvious development would be to control many more features through this, and that would be easily implementable as a plugin in ex. RR, so we could get "native" pcnav7 support in RR with labels and information transfer between skins and the nav sw.

Does anyone knows if it can easily minimized?
I'm reinstalling my carPC and looking into updating the GPS software (currently using d3), because I want to have new maps.
If it can be minimized easily, I can use it as a workaround until 7.1 is out.

not easily no, there is a menu, 3 steps into the gui menu that minimizes it, but there are no keyboard shortcuts or anything like that for this function´, i have tried with a few packages to minimize the window from outside the application with no luck.

Damn, Then I'll wait until 7.1 in out for sure. I dont want to spend the money without a guarantee for a windowed version.
