PC Navigator 6 - Europe - coming next week

I'll go with this nav system when the SDK is available.

One question/request to pass on to Directions maybe (wilgartw?)
- Could it include GPS Gate (http://www.franson.com/gpsgate/) functionality so that additional sw could be added without buying a GPSGate licens?

I want to use GPS data to my GooPs tracker, and that added feature would save me 30USD.

I have now tried XPort out.

It is a very easy application to run and it does the job. One thing though...

It connects to internet by dialing up internet on my BT phone! Why? Spyware?

I've sent a question to curioustech (telling name?) and I think I will wait using it until I got an explanation.

Edit:
I have now got message from Curioustech that when pressing "service" the ports are scanned. No data transfer

The Navigator maps is quite unusable in Central-East Europe (Hungary,Croatia)
they won't update this....

look at Croatia in this """"navigation software"""""
the D3 map is better than this

Greek map also don't have very good coverage...except athens..D3 maps are better too

one more question.. does Pc navigator use standard Teleatlas maps? upgrade is via Teleatlas or you? on your site there is nothing about map upgrading!!

A:standard TA map in OUR format, so you can only upgrade from us
map upgrades are discounted to registered users

Were did yu find the speedcam.csv i tryed converting tomtom garmin files and still cannot get them to work or get hold of the cat999.mef file for uk ?

Well I have Sorted it now
got the file pocketgps_uk_sc.csv

Then coverted it to pocketgps_uk_sc.xls
then run the program getmef.exe

Then using the excel driver loaded pocketgps_uk_sc.xls
useing the dd'mm'ss settings
and using latitued
longitued so the matched the same as the header

then saved it as cat999.mef in the euroupe.ta folder

ok it tryed it one at a time till i got the right one sorted

A week ago I wrote 'em a letter asking why the road on the screen is at a slight 20 degree angle when I'm driving down a straight way and weather it's gonna be the same in the next, 7th, version. Still havn't got any freaking answers.
So, if they can't even answer a simple question then I don't think they gonna do any "extras" in terms of demo versions and whatnot.
