This project has bacome pretty good. Everyone doing there share and stuff. Someone might want to add some flash visualisations in there, maybe Gutter. And use a better font such as "BRING THE NOISE" Font

I can do visualizations, and I can do better fonts, but what I really need is someone to write me a form to do this..

    Call it Video.frm

I want to be able to dump these movie types into it "via string variable" and have it play them, and then exit...

    Mpeg, AVI, DOV(DVD), and DivX.

If you can do it, do it... I CANNOT FIGURE IT OUT GRRRRR!!!!
All I can get to play is those darn mpgs.

    Thumbs up

    Great job.
Free stuff is always the best.

    I will help beta test.

So far I got the Creative Remote going through a Belkin serial to USB adapter working with it.

For playing divx and dvds, isn't it possible to play these types on Windows Media Player, I have. You need to download the codecs but thats fairly is to find.

When I try to use my Creative Remote when a song is playing all it does is Mute or Unmute the player.

I also can't get the remote or mouse/touchscreen to navigate around.

    Using the Keyboard works though.

We have been working on Media Engine again... Many new things have been added...

(From InstallTips.txt file in Media Engine)
    This release contains updates.
    11-07-02
    -Tons of things changed
-You can now have directories in any fashion. Even have movies and mp3s together in one dir!
    -Removed stupid rotating cube
    -Added playtime counter for media
-Added Movie support (plays AVi and mpg on all systems, divx with codec installed)
-Added WMA support for all systems
-Added drop shadows for playmp3 screen
-PhatB made changes to IR control system
Media Engine now support X10, IRman, and CIMR Creative Remotes. Also,
there is a new remote delay before repeat feature added to facilitate
    control while driving
-Added new images for logocolortras.gif (transparent gif file displayed on main menu at top)

Leslie- For what I know perhaps you need to program your buttons. Do that by clicking each button on the setup screen and pressing the corresponding button on your remote.

Thanks, I did program the buttons. I think it's becasue I'm running my CIMR through a Serial to USB converter???

I tested M.E. on my Home PC with IRMan and the remote functions fine. I have it directly connected to the serial port.

About mouse control, I can click to select stuff but can't double click to play a song for example.

I'll test out the next release and see what happens.

Other than that the program looks awesome. Keep up the great work guys.

    Hi CarComp,

Nice app, I was wondering if you could help me with a certain problem. I have an x-10 remote and receiver, when i try to set the codes up one button wil have like three different codes for it. I can't figure out what to do, any ideas?

    Thanks,
