    Movie Audio normalization

    When playing Movies the softer audio passages get drowned out by road noise. When I turn up the volume the louder passages blast out my less tolerant passangers. I was wondering if there is any way to normalize the audio level of movies during playback.

    i think www.doom9.org has a directshow util in the download section that does this
