    Some help needed..

Hey, I've been using ME in my car successfully for the last few months, great prog.. Anyways today I went to finally add some new mp3's to my hard drive and I have deleted all my ID tags cuz I hate them.. I have the box unchecked for reading ID3 tags.. The problem I'm seeing is alot of the playlist is unorganized and I'm also seeing alot of "unknown artist" etc. showing up.. I think that's from files that I deleted though.. All my mp3's are named in this format:

    Band - Album - 01 - Songname.mp3

Alot of the files are just showing up "Band name - Songname" If it's not reading the ID tag then how is it showing up without listing the filename?

    Next question:
I just wanted to put ME on my home computer again to play with.. I installed it, and copied over the .exe incase the new one wasnt included on the ME site.. Now I really don't care about playlists, I just keep all of my MP3's in C:\MP3s directory (large directory keep in mind) and leave my shuffle on basically.. So I set that as my directory mp3 directory in the settings, and whenever I click on playlists (you have to for the first time) It just blinks in and out of the program and I have to end task it.. If I change the directory to another one with 1 mp3 in it, it works fine.. Is something wrong with the way I'm doing this? I can't remember how I got it to work in the car, but I have 17 gigs of mp3s in 1 directory in my car so I can't imagine it's too many files to handle or anything.. Any idea's??

Can't wait for 1.2, hopefully this stuff shouldn't matter by then, but in the mean time while you guys are hard at work coding ......

BTW the error showing up in the debug log is:

6/8/2003 11:56:04 PM An error occured in ID3.ReadID3 at line number 0 : Invalid procedure call or argument : Error number 5

This was the same problem I had when I first decided to try ME, then when I installed it in the car it worked fine.. Maybe it's just one of my mp3 files on this computer thats screwing something up..
