Posting this incase this problem comes up agian for someone else.

I had this happen during testing phase of my carpc. The Icons in Media engine are effected by global fonts. So if you set them to large/extra large+ you will need suffient resolution to show the entire picture.

Since I was using a small screen, I needed large font to navigate windows. But this made Media Engine "run" offscreen.

I tried resetting my font sizes as was suggested earlier in this thread but that didn't make any difference. I am running Media Engine at 800 X 600 on the tsv screen from Xenarc. I tried running at 1024 X 768 and that seems to have solved the problem but at that res. I can barely see anything else on the screen. I have updated the "mediaengine.exe" file but still no fix. Any other suggestions? The horizontal and vertical settings on the monitor did not help either. I've tried it on three monitors now and the only time I have the problem is on the Xenarc, not on any other, including the Laptop LCD's.

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Media Engine Resolution

    Hi!

I just reset the fonts to 100% Windows calls this normal in display properties. After resetting and rebooting, I was able to set the external monitor res. to 640 X 480 and I think it all looks good now.
