OK i have this requirement i want to put my a/c in the carputer also so i can controll the A/C with the touch screen
now i just want 6 buttons in front
1= a/c on
2= blower speed 1
3= blower speed 2
4= blower speed 3
4= blower speed 4
5 = temp controller
6= power antena
7= blank
8= blank
now i can controll 8 relays with this cuircuit

But dont know anything about Software .. it can be done in VB 6
I can build the hard ware .... no problem ..

How were you thinking about implementing the hardware for this? This is something that I was wanting to do in my vehicle also. The only problem is that all off the functions are controlled by air tubes of some sort. I see no way to solve this with relays, unless there is some kind of electrically controlled valve that I can splice in to the system. Just wondering what you were thinking.

there are such things as electrically controlled valves but you could probably get away with servos

I have a mercedes and the blower of the aircon is not cotrolled with the vacum system of the car....
So all i have to do is jump the wires to the relay board and it shall controll the A/C ..
Only major problem is with ME i can use ME and the relay software seperatly that means every time i want to make the A/c slow the music goes off
