I've set power button to mean hibernate in Windows, but I don't have a physical power button anymore.
Hitting the ME power off button, and defaulting to Hibernate would be very very useful.

You will need to change modShutdown.bas:
< ExitWindowsEx flags, 0
> SetSuspendState True, True, True

The fist True is hibernate, use false for stdby.

If you don't use an external application you can create a bat file like this:
hib.bat
%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState

and point the external app to the bat file. if you run it (and your system is set for hibernation) it will hibernate the machine.

I use Mappoint as my external App.
Although if I don't set media engine as my shell, and just add it as a startup item, I could create a batch script on the desktop to do that. Cheers.
