    media player classi

the quicktime alternative and real alternative both play thru media player classic, which will play any codec you have installed. so maybe a way to change the default player? because you can't (afaik) change it in xp, it just changes back. would this cause too many problems? would be nice though.

you can get some dlls to make it a little easier (so you can debug subclassed code)

but the short answer is don't have any errors in your subclassed code, and disable subclassing if you need to debug.

first of all thanks confused for the updated exe. Good work and now i can listen to music while destinator 2 is on.
What i have probems with is that i installed milkdrop viz latest build. What happens is that it crashes 3 times out of 4. i have a epia m 10000 ezra core with 64 m of memory enabled. from what i have managed to see between the total crash of tha system it seems that i get the message that there are problems with my memory card which cant initialize the 3d engine..... so, i launch winamp in the mediaengine directory and fiddle with configuration of milkdrop. i tried diffrent resolutions, also tried to lower to 16 bit depth. i dont know how to solve this "vital" problem, dont think its the direct x version which i have installed, 8.1 causing the problem. ill update to latest 9.0a if necessary.....

    susman,

Not sure what's going on...maybe latest build?

I am using the one that you get from Winamp.com. Will try the latest build tonight however.

Cliff, not sure why people use WMA, but you got it, will update exe later

Also, AAC and MP4 support would be great... My winamp on my home PC plays these fine with the plug-in.

    Confused,
Can you post the source for your changes for your fellow developers?
