Thread: new user - strange errors

ok ive just installed ME under win98 lite and after downloading and registering a few ocx files i finally got it to start

but whenever i click the MP3 or Playlist buttons it shows up the loading screen then drops back to the main menu

if however i click on the radio function then enter the mp3 menu from there it works fine and i can play songs

ive also noticed in the debug.log file :

An error occured in mediaengine.runok : ActiveX component cant create object : error number 429

repeated over and over (ie everytime i try to open the mp3 window its logging that)

any ideas??
