    Winamp<ME> doesnt play DIV'x

Can anyone help, I have had ME now for about 2 weeks, and I cannot get some of my movies to play, all I get is a White bar on the top and bottom of the screen in ME,

I have downloaded all the codecs, and the movies play fine when I run it from the standard winamp 3 or Windows media player without running ME, but as soon as I run ME I get the white bars up.

Some films will play, inc all my music video's, just not divx stuff

I have reistalled ME 3 times to no avail

This is the only problem I have, please help

    Cheers Ron

ME 177 doesn't use winamp to play the movies. Its uses other libraries.

You'll pretty much have to wait till 2.0 to come out. 2.0 will handle any format WMP can handle and you can add in supported extensions to show up in the list

yeah but it used to work fine on this pc, just my new car pc it doesnt work on, and if it uses "libraries" surely u can instal the correct codec so that it plays the movie, its only some films, not all of em

I am guessing that you have too many video codecs installed and it is using the wrong one. I had that problem on my pc. I took off the codecs that I didn't want and my movies were finally playing like I intended them to!
