One suggestion that I might add is that the Creative Sound Blaster Extigy (The USB external setup) works well with MediaEngine. I have a friend who tried it with it and it works flawlessly.
I have the M-Audio Sonica and ME 2.0 (updated) doesn't like it. Any of you having the same problem? Runtime error 16, Runtime error 0, Can't divide by zero, all that fun stuff. Can't play mp3s, play videos. ME throws me right back out. Ive got phat_b lookin into it at the moment. the moment I pop the USB sound out, bam, works no problem. Thing is, my USB sound is 10x better sounding than the onboard via audio...dont want to revert back.
Anyone else have these problems?

Does the card give you trouble when you aren't using ME? like if you were to just open up winamp or something and play a song?

Carcomp, and suggestions? Phat_b suggested turning of my onboard sound via the BIOS, which I did, and still no go. I really would rather use ME, so anything you can suggest is really appreciated.Originally Posted by Cliff
