Vdub skin wip

well here is a image of the skin i was working on.
Its not finished, needs some tweeks here and there.
Its made to match VW and Audi interior lights.
The .net and pics buttons just link to the external apps.
Before ME2.0 came out i thought you would be able to just link any button to an external app instead of going to another screen with a list of external apps.
So im going to remove those buttons. I also have buttons for GPS and FM radio, but i dont have GPS or the dlink radio so you dont see the buttons.
The skin works, its just not done and im probably not going to work on it anymore until i get a new screen. Here is a pic though.

Man I wish I had a VW. That skin looks hot. Can you put a honda logo in the backgound instead?

i can do that, np
im not releasing the skin yet thugh, i still have to make custom buttons for the other screens. I also plan on making the skin MediaCar compatable too so when i release it it'll be in both formats.

Does anyone know if media engine supports animated .gif files?

thanks for the comments.

I plan on making the skin universal, meaning if you want it to have your car logo that isnt a problem. I think i may even (if time permits) match a few interior colors of other cars. This was also ment to be a night time skin, but found it worked pretty good in the daytime too.

I am giving serious thought to somehow adding something in m.e where you can link an external app up to a certain skin button... It could be different for each user. In fact, I will probably do this. It sounds like a good idea... Just have m.e look at the skin and if it finds "extra" buttons, they can be ex app buttons. I will let you all know.
