Now it goes to Main Screen then crashes..

Help,
I just installed the current update .27 in my carputer. It solved the looping problem but now it turns on the main screen and then approx 2-3 seconds later ME disappears and is closed. I can't get to any other window as it starts to go to any of the buttons I click on and then closes. It is not min, it is closed.
Any suggestions?
Looking forward to having it work.

I am using Windows Media 9.0, with Win XP Corporate version. The cpu is an AMD 2200+ in a ShuttleX.

Still can't get ME to run at all in the SUV.
