Can someone convert this skin to MediaCar?
for those quietly waiting for the vdub skin and other car versions to be uploaded. Finally i got them online. Been super busy, with work and holidays etc. But here it is.
Hopefully this works, SBC is a POS
I changed a few things in the skin, added a shutdown button, changed buttons slightly and changed background slightly. Hopefully the background wont look like **** on the LCD monitor as i put scanlines in. We'll see. Somebody let me know.
Instructions for copying the background screens.
Find the 3 backgrounds that have the logo name you want ie;
list_Nissan.jpg ,
main_Nissan.jpg , and
play_Nissan.jpg
Download these 3 files
Rename the files like below before you copy them into the folder named "vdub_1280x768"
list_Nissan = laserbg1.jpg
main_Nissan = main.jpg
play_Nissan = laserbg2.jpg
Thats it, now the skin should have whatever logo you picked.
Also, there is a Blank image for each background with no logo for those who want to add there own logos.
NOTE:
This skin is specificly made for screen res of 1280x768 if you use any other res it WILL look like **** so dont complain to me about it. Im working on a 800x600 version but it wont be available for at least a few days.
You may also have to adjust the font sizes in the skin as i dont have my LCD screen to really test this out on, so the fonts are most likely too big. Just open the .skn file in notepad and change the font size to what you like.
Since i dont have my LCD to test this skin out, i dont really know if everything looks as intended on the screen. If you see any weirdness please let me know so i can fix it. My screen should be here Friday, hopefully

For anyone who has already downloaded it,
I changed the load icon again, i forgot to take the vw logo out of the center of it. So you can redownload the skin again or just copy these images and replace the old ones.
well i got my lcd screen back today and got everything back up and running. I noticed some issues with the playscreen in the skin i made when viewed on my lcd. I will fix those issues asap. Probably not tonight though, got a headache, but it should wear off. Well see. I just need to resize the background. For somereason the bottom of the image is in the middle of the screen. The whole image is squished.

just copy this in the skin folder and replace the other one.
