Thread: media engine not working on xp pro

is not the xp pro or the mediaengine is the mp3 file id tag the makes it crash! I don't know why... i read in winamp.com i think that someone had comeout with something that was able to attach to the id tag and when you run it i'll make winamp crash... so i remember! try this so i can proot it. make a new folder for your media and inside of it a folder for your mp3s .them install the ME and set it to the folder you had just made... rememmber to put in 1 or 2 mp3 in the folder. look at the log file i'll tell you which mp3 are making it crash. now that's the problem on mine pc but i don't know the solution...
