There is a bit of a problem with some satnav software that is supposed to be fixed in the next release. I use MapMonkey which works fine.
What satnav program are you using? Freedrive is known to have problems.
Hi
The program is overall great, i am using it for more than a month but I have a problem with navigation program. I have tried this with two navigation programs and it is the same, also checked different screen size..no help.
So the problem is that when the navigation is open there are no play/stop/rewind and more buttons from the media browser, the navigation is always fullscreen and the biggest problem is that when I click in navigation programs Minimize or Close the LOADING Media engine screen appears and nothing is happening until i restart the application...any ideas?

Hello...
i have the same problem with NCK5 (Navigon) ...... if i close the programm, i have the "Loading" screen.... now i press ESC on my Keyboard and im back in Mediaengine.....
Ok, I'm working on 2.3.6 today. If my phone doesn't ring in the next couple hours I might have it ready to release this evening. Hopefully whatever changes CarComp made here will solve the issues I've had with RoadNav as well.
Edit: Update - scratch that. :-| CarComp hasn't uploaded his changes to the repository so I'm waiting on him. :-| Sorry folks.

Well you can restore yourself to glee (though I doubt it warrants such fanfare) because CarComp sent me the changes last night. I'd like to smack him for not uploading them two months ago when I asked him about it, but that would be wasting perfectly good energy.
No, no real source control system.

So yeah. We're still waiting.
And for me it does warrant such fanfare. I hate using mapmonkey for GPS because it causes errors everytime my pc hibernates and crashes now and then. I'd really like to use Freedrive which the fix that Carcomp sent you 'should' fix.
If it doesn't, I'm going to harrass you for source code, rip out my old copy of VB6 and go to town on it myself.![]()
