Is there an option (or a hack) to turn off ID3 tags and just show file names instead? I think there used to be an option for this but I can't see it in the settings anywhere... my id3 tags are mostly wrong and I don't want to update them because then the "date modified" on the file changes and I can no longer sort them from oldest to newest when I want to.
Hmm, now that I think about it maybe if I go into the Winamp in the media engine directory and change the plugin settings to not read id3 tags...(in_mp3 or whatever the mp3 decoding plug in is). I'll try that when I get home, but in the meantime somebody please let me know if there is a way to turn them off that you are sure about. Thanks.
