That's a simple question? You forget to take your ritalin or something?Originally Posted by PaCMaYNE
When browsing through folders there are two sorting options. By artist + title, or by filename. My entire collection is ripped with the filenames starting with the track number, so that's how I like it. There's really no foolproof and efficient way for M/E to tell if the folder you're in is an album or a folder full of singles, so we don't even attempt to sort by track number as presented in the ID3 tags. If you want this, go to <browse database>/<by artist>/<by album> and it will sort by track number. Oh, look in settings for the 'sort by filename' option. I believe it's under either the 'appearance' or 'actions' tab.
Yep, you better get to the pharmacy pronto. Of what I've been able to decipher of your question, no we don't cycle through the pics in the main media folder. What happens is when we play a title if the ID3[V2] tag contains an image, we display it. If not, we look in the folder that the currently playing file is nested in for *.jpg, *.gif, *.bmp, *.png files. If there are multiples it will slideshow them while the song is playing. If you only have one image in an album folder, you will only see that image. If you have a playlist of songs from different folders, you see the relevant image from each specific folder. As for your suggestion, personally I'm not very keen on the idea, but I'll run it past the other developer and see what he thinks. Myself, I would rather have a dedicated function in the program for displaying a folder of pictures [fullscreen] while listening to music.Originally Posted by PaCMaYNE
